Joe Biden The New President Thoughts So Far?

Recommended Posts

  • 4 weeks later...

Joe Biden, the Leader of the Free World, seems to have dropped from the consciousness of his former supporters.

But today we have another Biden Administration day, and another Biden Administration major war.

Europe, now the Middle East.  What's the betting on an Asian war over Taiwan before Joe gets booted out?

Where is he, by the way?

Is he running around the World's capital cities,  feverishly trying to drum up support for the West, by diplomacy, or is he still in bed, waiting for Dr. Jill to help him get his shoes on?

Sad, and sick stuff!

Brought to you courtesy of the usual suspects!

I only just read he freed up to 6 billion to Iran for a hostage exchange!!!!

But don't worry they have promised to use it for humanitarian needs.

And just a few days later Hamas invade Israel.

What a weak president.

Some details on that: How Iran can use the $6 billion involved in the release of 5 Americans

Iran don't get to use the funds how they like:

Quote

Moreover, US officials have made clear that the funding, which is Iran’s, not from US taxpayer dollars, is not under the control of the Iranian government.

Brett McGurk, White House coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa, said Monday that “no funds are going to Iran at all.”

“These funds are paid to vetted third-party vendors for food, medicine, medical products and agricultural products to go into Iran over a period of years. If there is any diversion, we’ll know it and we’ll lock up these accounts,” he told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “The Lead.”

And just for the Trump fans:

Quote

Sources told CNN the funds came from oil sales that were allowed and placed into accounts set up under the Trump administration.

...

Former Vice President Mike Pence – under whose tenure the White House made two prisoner swap deals with Tehran – is expected to slam the deal

So Al, if Biden doing a prisoner swap deal with Iran makes him a weak president, what did Trump doing two prisoner swap deals with Iran make him?

A source told CNN?  I ended my interest right there.

Another opinion.....

In the interview, Raisi said that Iran would have “authority” over how the funds would be spent. “This money belongs to the Iranian people, the Iranian government, so the Islamic Republic of Iran will decide what to do with this money,” he said, according to an Iranian government translator.

Asked if the money would be used for other purposes apart from humanitarian needs, Raisi said: “Humanitarian means whatever the Iranian people needs, so this money will be budgeted for those needs, and the needs of the Iranian people will be decided and determined by the Iranian government.

Either way, Biden looks as weak as ditch water.

Now remind me who made a deal for the Taliban to take over Afghanistan....................

No brainer, Joe Biden. :)

Here's the deal that Trump made!

https://www.state.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Agreement-For-Bringing-Peace-to-Afghanistan-02.29.20.pdf

After Trump left office, none of the conditions of the Peace Agreement were kept by the U.S., the Taliban, or the Afghan Government.

(By the time Biden got around to acting on it 6 months later than scheduled, there was no longer an Afghan Government!)  :)

As a result it became null and void!
