I don't believe Biden will stand for office in November.  If he can't be persuaded by those around him that he's no longer capable of holding the office the 25th Amendment will be invoked.

Ironically it was looked at when Trump was in office and behaving like someone who wasn't all there.

I was wondering if they can force him to step down

A once politically far-fetched question — can President Biden be replaced at the top of the Democratic Party presidential ticket — has taken on new urgency after Mr. Biden’s halting debate performance in late June against former President Donald J. Trump.

The short answer is yes — assuming Mr. Biden decides on his own to step aside. But if Mr. Biden decides not to step aside, the short answer is probably no.

Either way, the process would be complicated and would open the door to political upheaval between now and when Democratic delegates gather to vote for a nominee at their convention in August.

Looks like an 'accident' or 'sudden death after a short illness' could be worth a punt then?😁

The New York Times says what it really thinks of Trump:

Quote

He is dangerous
in word, deed and action

He puts self over
country

He loathes the laws
we live by

Donald
Trump
Is Unfit
to Lead

...

Mr. Trump has shown a character unworthy of the responsibilities of the presidency. He has demonstrated an utter lack of respect for the Constitution, the rule of law and the American people. Instead of a cogent vision for the country’s future, Mr. Trump is animated by a thirst for political power: to use the levers of government to advance his interests, satisfy his impulses and exact retribution against those who he thinks have wronged him.

He is, quite simply, unfit to lead.

It's worth reading the whole thing, although I doubt anyone who needs to will.

Meanwhile everyone seems to have forgotten Trump got his doctor's name wrong, confused Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi and said Viktor Orban was the leader of Turkey.

Trump gave a keynote address at the Heritage Foundations 2022 leadership conference and said:

But he apparently knows nothing about it any more. Dementia setting in or just the usual lying?

The thing is altus if Biden makes a gaff it's totally relevant and proof that he isn't capable of holding the office, however if Trump does the same it's irrelevant and he's definitely the man for the job.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MyLwAokINc  It's worth repeating for the laughs alone.

Neither of them is fit for purpose, in Biden's case it's because of his age and signs of memory loss, which is fairly common in men of his age. https://www.nbcnews.com/health/bidens-memory-issues-draw-attention-neurologists-weigh-rcna138135

In Trumps case he also suffers from memory loss and additionally his lack of character and inability to  behave in a rational manner plus the fact that if he were to be appointed for a second term he would be older than Biden is now before that term ended. https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-dementia-evidence-overwhelming-top-psychiatrist-1881247

They both need to be replaced for everyone's sake.
