They know their audience!

The ones who have no clue what's really going on in the world, unless it's on t' telly!

Yeah but the telly wouldn't lie. The talking telly box only has our best interests at heart.

If you think anything else you're a dangerous misinformation type person apparently.

Not for the nudity but the truth. Did you know Elvis was working in Rotherham Morrisons on the Butchers counter.

Don't be so ridiculous...

With the increasing pressure from his Democrat Party on Joe Biden to step down from office, it is appropriate to pay some attention to who is most likely to succeed him, as President of the U.S., and more relevant to our SF community, the Leader of the Free World.

To borrow a term most often used by The Daddy,, what are your (respectful) thoughts?

Kamala harris. The same kamala harris who 'believed women' when they accused Biden of assault but then turned right around and accepted the VP job?  That kamala harris? Well She'd be the first DEI hire Potus in history so that's something I suppose.

They're asking him  not to run again in November not to quit as President.

The problem is that the DNC Convention to nominate their 2024 Presidential Candidate is coming up in August, with the election in November.

Vulnerable Democrats and some in the DNC leadership, fear having Biden confirmed as the Democrats choice for President for the November Election will hurt the Party's chances in the November vote, given the current state of the polls. He'd be the quintessential "lame duck".

Having Biden step down now, would give the DNC the opportunity to rally around, get behind, and support financially a new Official Candidate for President.

The best time to select and declare a new Leader, would be in August, at the convention, but that would require Biden to end his candidacy.

Otherwise the November election will be a binary choice between Trump and Biden. with the fate of Kamala left in limbo. If Trump wins, Kamala's (or anyone else's) chances of succeeding Biden would disappear for at least 4 years.

So in the next 3 months, will be very interesting, with lots palace intrigue and sharp knives

Yes  - like I said the pressure is on Biden to withdraw his candidacy, not to quit as President.

Harris isn't. In line for anything at the moment.

I looked a few days ago, she was 4/1 to be the USA's next President.
