BBC - "A leading disinfectant producer has issued a strong warning not to use its products on the human body after Donald Trump "suggested they could potentially be used to treat coronavirus"."

Fake News.

It's not fake, Reckitt Benckiser did issue a warning, as did others:

Here what Trump actually said.

He actually asked a question of his scientific advisors who shared the platform with him at a Press Conference:

Here's the Chicago Tribune:

"In fact, at Trump’s briefing, he was speaking directly to Bryan and Dr. Deborah Birx, his White House coronavirus coordinator, who were seated off-stage to the right of the podium.

“I see disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute, one minute, and IS THERE a way we can do something like that by injection inside, or almost a cleaning?

Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it’d be interesting to check that. So you’re going to have to use medical doctors, but it sounds interesting to me. So, we’ll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that’s pretty powerful.”

Only illiterates, and folks who fell for the click bait, could misinterpret what he said.

You're doing a sterling job highlighting your illiteracy :hihi:

BBC should make a retraction!

Of what? The article is accurate, it was reported by multiple sources and is corroborated by your link :?

NPR

"Let's start with the good news: Some recent studies confirm that SARS-CoV-2 is one of the viruses, along with other types of coronaviruses, that can be killed by ultraviolet light rays.

Actually, we've known that UV light kills a lot of different germs since the late 1800s when scientists discovered that shorter wavelengths of ultraviolet light rays emitted by the sun — what we now call ultraviolet-C rays or UVC light — could kill bacteria".

And of course, "disinfectant" chlorine (bleach) is injected into your own water supply. You drink it every day. lol

"In the UK, all public water supplies must be disinfected by law to destroy any bacteria which may be harmful to your health. Predominantly, chlorine is used to ensure your water is safe to drink and meets our quality standards".

So asking this question of the scientists on his panel (before there was a vaccine, or even if there would be one for years) was a smart thing to do, while people were dying and nothing was available to save them.

But way over the heads of the leftists, and their pals in the media, who had their day of joy, albeit on a totally out of context quote that went around the World faster than COVID itself.

Lol

But Trump haters still hang on to the narrative. It's all they've got, these days, when you look at the sad sack sap they've replaced him with.

The good news, You'll always have Trump!

The bad news, You may have him back!

Lol

Of course Trump himself said he was asking the question to reporters,so that clears it up.

Trump at every turn was undermining the health people  and measures that unquestionably would have saved  untold numbers of lives.

He also took the finest medical treatment available while still not admitting he was vaccinated and undermining the use of vaccines ,he was the only living President not to share his vax status or be publicly vaccinated.

When Biden came to power over 4,000 a day were dying and last time I looked Florida ,under Trump lite" had the worse death rates in the US

It was an absurd question to ask and he compounded his moronic error by doing it in a press conference. The clear implication from the way he asked was that he thought drinking or injecting household cleaning products was plausibly a reasonable thing to do. Trump is a moron and this is strong evidence in support of the fact. See for yourself, its fun.

"Could "  is the word most people are missing or deliberately not hearing

Nope, I am hearing the word 'could' but the idea is so preposterous that simply raising it in a press conference as a possibility marks Trump out as a moron.

So you agree he didnt advocate injecting bleach

No, he did not specifically tell people to go out and inject bleach. Yes, you would have to be a moron to inject bleach based on what he said. Unfortunately, ... he did raise the possibility as plausible and guess what there were morons watching.
