Should Drugs Be Legalised !

Recommended Posts

I think the problem is mostly in the meaning of the term 'addiction'. It means a lot of different things, from "shopaholics" to physical opiate dependency.

In terms of addiction in its widest sense, providing you use a safe route of administration, the risks from cannabis are minimal - unlike *almost* every other drug in the known universe, from nicotine to methamphetamine.

Alcohol addicts almost always die from their addiction.

Alcohol is where the focus needs to be - and thankfully, because it's not illegal, it can be further regulated - bans on advertising, standardised packaging, minimum pricing etc.

There's an old joke in the U.S..

The government has taken over the numbers racket (Lotto, gambling), drugs, alcohol, , tobacco, guns, prostitution, horse racing,  illegal human trafficking across it's Southern border, and even the protection racket (Obamacare had mandatory participation).

So much so that a crook like Al Capone couldn't even make a decent living today!

Get ready for the price of heroin to drop considerably due to the taliban taking over in Afghanistan.....

Heroin is one of their main exports especially to European countries....

Maybe another good reason why drugs should be made legal !!!!....
