It means a lot of different things, from "shopaholics" to physical opiate dependency. In terms of addiction in its widest sense, providing you use a safe route of administration, the risks from cannabis are minimal - unlike *almost* every other drug in the known universe, from nicotine to methamphetamine. Alcohol addicts almost always die from their addiction. Alcohol is where the focus needs to be - and thankfully, because it's not illegal, it can be further regulated - bans on advertising, standardised packaging, minimum pricing etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The government has taken over the numbers racket (Lotto, gambling), drugs, alcohol, , tobacco, guns, prostitution, horse racing, illegal human trafficking across it's Southern border, and even the protection racket (Obamacare had mandatory participation). Heroin is one of their main exports especially to European countries.... Maybe another good reason why drugs should be made legal !!!!....
