Janet24
I think our gardener is somewhere between the two - knows his stuff ,but does more general tidying than anything ,and that suits us fine .We think he is good value anyway!

Our son is stately home garden trained and qualified, however if he needs to earn a few extra quid he’s competing with the £12.50 an hour guys, he can’t mow a lawn or cut a hedge any better than them.
