Will We See Ramsdale In A Blades Shirt Again?.

Looking at some of the comments from Arsenal fans on the BBC website regarding the sale of Ramsdale to them, many don't seemed that chuffed to have him & see him as a liability rather than an asset.  The consensus is the Blades have been the ones wearing the 'Big glasses' & have seen Arsenal coming in getting them to 'waste' £24 million on buying Ramsdale.

For whatever reason, its not worked out for us or Ramsdale so to off load him for a reported £24 million, which could rise to a reportedly £30 million, if Ramsdale eventually becomes Arsenal's No. 1, plus the saving on his wages, that's a good bit of business for the Blades.

Now all we need is to find a decent Championship keeper?

Wes Foderingham and Michael Verrips are going to be given 2 games each apparently to prove themselves & become the first choice keeper.  If neither come up to the mark, Jokanovic is going to look to bringing someone else in.

Butland sat on the bench at palace,  went there for £1m, get him in!

You did well getting shut for a profit.

But very short sighted considering he was theirs in the first place and had to spend 18.5M to bring him back.

Arsenal fans are underwhelmed before hes even played a game!

The big boys come along and poach all of our top young talent, in order to meet the home grown quota rules.

Therefore I think we are right to give a bit back. If Arsenal want Ramsdale, then they need to cough up a premium for him, it is as simple as that.

I think they all just hope that we will roll over and part with all of the higher end acquisitions instantly to balance the books.

But.......we don't need to!

You’ve rolled over and sold one of your higher end acquisitions for a £1.9m profit that reportedly the manager won’t see.

But……………you obviously do need to 😂

Funny how you change your tune isn't it. Last week Ramsdale wasn't anywhere near good enough and that was why we apparently, hadn't received any firm interest for him.

We didn't have to sell Ramsdale and had rejected 3 bids prior to allowing him to talk. Let's not forget that it was the player who had his head turned and asked specifically to talk to Arsenal. If he wants to leave, them it is difficult to stop that against a team of Arsenal's stature....if anything you take your hat off to the team for ensuring that a profit was still achieved, post his former teams cut.

Can we have some firm proof of the fact that no money will be made available to Jokanovic? You are constantly making these unfounded claims, based solely on personal opinion.

They're not unfounded claims.

Lets see what happens between now and the end of the month.
