I can’t work it out from that map From looking at the report & plan, the bus gate will only be on one side of the carriageway, inbound into the city on Arundel Gate, starting just in front of the Novotel. It doesn't look that big but as with all bus gates, it only has to be long enough to film vehicles going through it that shouldn't, so they can be fined. fools
great idea, it will redirect all those lovely fumes to the pollution hotspot next to the train station.

Maybe it won’t be such a “pollution hotspot” when all the Hackney cabs that congregate there have upgraded to newer, less polluting vehicles to comply with the CAZ.

ewanarm
I was walking around the city centre the other day and was pleased to see all the development around the Heart Of The City project which shows that there is considerable investment in the city. However I have one worry regarding the retail units that are being created. Are many of these pre-let or will there be a load of brand spanking new empty units? I noticed that there are still only 3 units let in the HSBC building and that's been open for at least 2 years!
