If the developer brings forward a proposal for housing that is within those rules and aligns with Sheffield’s adopted planning policies, they pretty much have to approve it. It has been a long held ambition to have family oriented development in the city centre area as they’d like it to be more of a community, so you need accommodation for families to get that.
