my first game was 1960,in the old shed end ,i was only 5 years old ,cannot remember the game that much,but was at the front,it was the year we came second to spurs.

I’m told I was taken to an earlier game but don’t remember it.

 

So the first game I can really say I saw and remember was Wednesday v Arsenal in 1988.

 

the game finished 3-3 and my uncle took me who is from Liverpool and a Liverpool season ticket holder.

 

I remember we were winning 3-1 and Arsenal scored two late goals to draw.

 

i remember the bus journey into town after from the ground and an Arsenal fan giving me his programme cos I’d left mine under my seat and how he’d Biro’d the actual line ups, subs and scorers on the back of it as the line ups used to be pre-printed.

 

I would imagine I’ve been to probably 300+ games since then. Don’t know exactly tho.
