Happy to report I have now been accepted as an NHS patient at Thompson and Thomas at Fairlawns thanks to a bit of help from a lovely Dentist at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital. Haven't had any treatment yet at Fairlawns thanks to Charles Clifford.

Does anyone know of any Dentists (preferably North side of Sheffield,) who are taking on NHS patients. I've been looking for ages with no success. You're my last hope...

I have been trying to find a dentist for over a year I found one locally on NHS website saying they were taking patients, when I rang they said they were not I asked why they had just updated web site saying they were accepting patients and the exact words were Well we have to put that on for refugees.

Are you saying you don't believe me, if I was allowed I would name the dentist that I rang, like you I was surprised what the receptionist had just said and I have no reason to make stories up I was only trying to find a dentist like Anna

I had oral cancer, so referral to Charles Clifford was part of the treatment for checkups. I couldn't get an NHS dentist so the check ups at Charles Clifford continued until I could. They helped with that.

But I believe anyone can phone up for an appointment in an emergency. That used to be the case, but with the shortages that may have changed. If you're in pain I'd call that an emergency. So I'd try that first, or maybe if you call in down there in person it would help.  And get on an NHS waiting list asap. They may be able to tell you where they are accepting  NHS clients

Anna is Syrian and only landed here on a boat near Dover last week.

It's time you grew up and stopped taking the proverbial out of other posters for no reason.

I know you will claim you are joking but your sense of humour is really weird.

It seem that you now have a unsmart remark for every poster now.

Do you think that Anna's situation is funny?

The context of the post you quoted clearly sailed over your head, didnt it? Christ alive.

Clue - go and read posts 12 through 14.
