dont they offer caravans to stay in?,i would of thought young folk would be okay and like to work on a farm and earn cash rather than not work, theres a shortage in factorys as well, you cannot get cash for nothing for ever can they?

So you still want people to be forced to drop everything and move (in some cases) hundreds of miles to go and live in a caravan, probably sharing with a stranger, to do seasonal fruit picking work?

Yes I cant imagine for a minute why they havent forced people to do that.

@HeHasRisen it's what farmers have expected people to do for years except that they travelled much further from all over the EU. Well, not from all over, from the eastern accession nations where UK poverty wages and conditions seem great by comparison.

Why should they? Where's the dignity in doing work that Brits are "too good for"?

well its time proper facilitys and wages are paid to fruit pickers, then it will be worth doing, but in the 40s/50s the gypsys and  many familys used to do the work, but either way it needs sorting

Thats great, are you willing to pay double or treble for fruit and veg to pay for it?

no pay the minimum wage and offer somewhere to stay and pay a bonus as most do for good work,as in any normal job that requires a worker to work away from home,so maybe a bit more, but offering work to our workers who live here, has to be good, plus theres all that cash saving by not being in the common market,so we can all get some of that, otherwise we should of stay in the union, whats wrong with all the factory jobs we cannot fill?why cannot people do jobs that are signing on,when they are just basic jobs? or dont they want to work? it all needs sorting asap, otherwise we will be sending in the army to pick veg/fruit

Oh aye forgot about that, £350m a week wasnt it? 🤪

yes this was paying for the NHS ECT,so theres was no need for the tax rises, plus council tax rises,we could  build some nice chalets on sites to make working away more comfortable
