top4718 Posted October 22, 2021 Share Posted October 22, 2021 Used to like the Milestone, good quality food and a decent atmosphere, the early bird 3 courses and a drink for £16 was a bargain, sadly it never reopened after lockdown and there are no signs that it will, also saw this morning that the Wig & Pen on Campo Lane is closed which (I think) had the same owners as the Milestone. Silversmiths or Runaway Girl as it was then featured on Kitchen Nightmares, The Milestone featured on a best British restaurant type show where it finished fairly highly it was a Gordon Ramsey programme.
