Most importantly is finding out sooner if abuse is taking place, whether or not what colour the abusers are, the people who know must inform the authorities immediately so it can be nipped in the bud - the children have to attend schools, doctor and dentist appointments - the problem is if they get victimised even more for reporting the abuse. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Too many victims of abuse are ignored. The girls in Rotherham were ignored by the council, social services, the police, teachers.... The whole system needs shaking up and people to be brought to account.
