Yeah it always makes me laugh, thinking somebodys only going to be around for a quarter of that or whatever in reality, but i suppose what you said makes sense, real life (more than a life sentence) rather than a usual life sentence like here (20/30 years) makes it more real to them, that they will die in prison.
