pattricia
Allan Carr with jokes falling flat, and Rod Stuart past his sell by date, is this the worst Royal Variety Performance ever ?
cressida
Not heard of half of them, thank goodness Jane McDonald is on now, love her cruise shows - the acrobats were excellent. Edited December 19, 2021 by cressida

When I think of past Royal Variety Performances with the great comics like Les Dawson and Morecambe and Wise and with sometimes an American performer topping the bill like Bob Hope or Danny Kaye ,these artists can blind the ones on tonight.! Mister M
I don't normally watch these ghastly shows, but I'm at my Mum's for Christmas, so I don't have a choice! The Acrobats were amazing. Especially the silver haired one

When the Prince's secretary told him that there was an invite to the Royal Variety Performance, he audibly groaned and looked disgusted I'd guessed he wasn't a fan

Ed Sheeran is the closing act. Can he pull it together at the end ? Nice voice, shame about the song !
