The only good thing about last nights show, was,

Nibbling on Mr. Blokes mince pies, they seem to be infiltrating everywhere.

Is that a euphemism 😀?

I think Brian Conley should have presented the show infact he should have is own show, game show what ever,  he is the nearest thing to Bruce Forsythe and larry grayson's breed.  He knows how to involve an audience.

Brian Conley is as funny as piles

Agreed about winters they were as dire as little and large but Conley is funny,  but hey ho, every man/woman to their own.

When I think of past Royal Variety Performances with the great comics like Les Dawson and Morecambe and Wise and with sometimes an American performer topping the bill like Bob Hope or Danny Kaye ,these artists can blind the ones on tonight.!

Don't know about his RVP appearance but Danny Kaye was about as funny as an anal passage boil.

Oh dear Elvis is well past it too.

Now, I'm not expert in many things, but Elvis Costello is one of them.

Live, he's still fantastic. The band are amazing, his voice isn't what it was, but it is still great.

That performance was pretty disappointing  though.  I think it was all pre-recorded and mimed.

But there's no danger – it's a professional career.
