Branson's Knock Back From The Lottery Bid In Detail.

Recommended Posts

This article in the Guardian explaining why Richard Branson's bid failed is an interesting read. It was never going to happen regardless of finances. Apparently the government of the day were never going to allow it.

There is quite a bit of detail in the article. From what I read, Branson would have vastly improved the operation on many levels.

A lot of what Branson does is all smoke and Mirrors ,he shifts money around his various companies to make the figures look better . What ever happened to his failed buinesses ,he thought he just had to sick the Virgin name on something for it to be a success ,

I'm not aware of the details of the failed buisnesses that you mentioned. I'm interested in  reading about that side of things too. Can you provide the link(s) please.

As an aside, "A person that never makes mistakes never makes anything".

Actually thinking about it it should be used to fund Royalty, instead of everyone funding them.

Fund Royalty, is that a joke!    Let them live off the Billions they have gained off us over the Centuries, as for Branson getting the lottery, he never stood a chançe with bent Conservatives who would loose their cut. :suspect:

Just to add that Camelot get just 1p per £ spent and the rest goes to other causes.

That 1p is guaranteed pure profit, the operating costs and shareholder payments come out of a further 6p per £ spent.
