Baron99
I'll repeat my original question from post #1. Should Kate Josephs Resign as Sheffield's CEO? (Try & keep the responses / comments to Ms Josephs. If you want to comment about Boris, there's plenty on the Conservative Party thread). hackey lad
Bet she doesn’t go quietly, if at all . Who gave her the job in the first place?
HeHasRisen
Unless "are you planning to break lockdown rules by having a leaving party if we give you this job?" was one of the interview questions, and she answered "yes", you cant really blame the interview panel for this. Its all her own doing. Edited May 25, 2022 by HeHasRisen

HeHasRisen
No defending here, I was working on a sensible assumption she had the leaving do after getting the job here, i generally dont leave a job unless I have a new one lined up, most people are the same. Of course someone can feel free to prove me wrong. Only so much you can mitigate when hiring people. I could hire the most trustworthy looking person tomorrow and in 6 months they could murder my secetary. There is only one person to blame for all this mess. lobster
It boils down to 2 options either she didn't tell the Council in which case she has no option but to resign or she did tell the council in which case the people that hired her have to resign . Simples
forgeman
I bet every driver breaks the speed limit rules every day at some point. Yes she did wrong but I don't think she will/should resign but I do think she should repay all her salary from the time she was suspended up to the day until she returns back to work.
