Kidorry
All my brothers and sisters were evacuated to Southwell, but I was too young so I had to stay with my mother in Sheffield.

Janner
We lived in Shiregreen, we were not evacuated. We had a family from Croyden, London sent to our family. There were 10 children spread between various members of our family. At one time during the war we had 2 Welsh steel workers stay with us for a couple of weeks. Binderata
The person I spoke to had a very good reason to be evacuated as both ends of his tenement block t took High Explosive hits in Dec 12/13 1940. Next time I see him will ask how long before returning home?
