Car Steam Cleaning

Is there anyone that does car steam cleaning.

Not too fussed about the engine but the underbody and sub frame need cleaning.

Couple places i ve used in the past are now closed.

Any help appreciated?

Don’t do engine   Too many electronic bits under bonnet.    As for under body what about a good jet wash etc ?

Have you tried an automated carwash?  They usually offer some kind of underside cleaning

The car wash at Law Brothers - Leppings Lane has an underbody wash option.

But i need the drip tray opening and oil cleaning off the sub frame and underneath

There’s a car wash place on Attercliffe road  just before the Norfolk Bridge on the right hand side if going towards city centre that I’m sure offered engine steam cleaning so might be worth checking there.

I'm always keen to learn from others. What and where is the drip tray on a car? If you have oil on the chasis and underside I also think water will not  remove that , even under pressure. Hence I can see why you mentioned the steam method? Did someone not properly tighten the oil filter/drain plug?

City Road hand car wash do an underbody steam clean. They stick it up on the lift.

 

I go there to get the car washed (oddly enough)
