Made very hard work of that, almost chucked it away near the close, hutch heading two off the line in quick succession and BPF looked to have given a pen away, VAR would have been interested.

Two offside goals, three worrying injurys, we really struggled to get in behind them just like the reverse fixture, took a long range Byers punt to break the deadlock, ironically he tried the same shot in the reverse game but was spot on target tonight.

Hopefully the injuries arent too serious, its a busy month.

From where I was it looked like a foul on BPF but the ref gave a corner. He nearly gave them a goal with that casual clearance that was charged down. I thought it was going in.

Needed the win to keep the season alive, it was a strange game in windy conditions, totally dominated the first half with Morecambe sitting back as they did at their place but ended the half still at 0-0, the loss of Dean was a blow.

Started the second half in similar vein and a decent move led to a cracking Byers volley, 1-0. Unfortunately after this we seemed to take our foot of the gas and allow the away side to come onto us, they put some pressure on in the last 10 and looked good for an equaliser until NML popped up with a deflected goal in injury time.

Not a classic but a much needed win, Hutch and NML were the pick of the bunch.
