Ukraine: Invasion Imminent?

Recommended Posts

I thought it was administrative buildings that have been fired on, not the 6 reactors themselves?

Still a big concern of course, with fighting happening in the vicinity of the reactors.

Also, piping in on the ‘dementia debate’. Isn’t it fair to say having a diagnosis of dementia is a binary thing, but the illness itself isn’t.

Russian morons now shelling Europe’s largest nuclear power plant. Ten times worse than Chernobyl if it blows. Radiation levels increasing as one of the reactors burns.

Reactor secure.

No increase in radiation levels.

Training centre on fire during assault, now extinguished.

I think the reactor is now being shut down.

UK calling UN Security Council session regarding targeting of nuclear facilities.

This is an interesting story, no idea if its true, but if it is, it has deep repercussions for Russia

Ukraine forces tipped off about an alleged Chechen special forces assassination mission by Russian Security services.

This makes me wonder as well.

I think there are more cooler heads in Moscow than we realise.

I think that like in the West...there are probably a large group of people in the Russian defense world who do very well out of deterring wars.

To actually fight one is a disaster and I think many there and in NATO will do their very best to prevent one with each other.

The Russian decision the other day to cancel a request to Turkey (a NATO member) for 4 Russian warships to pass through their Straits is another example of some nervousness in Moscow about pushing NATO.

Flight Radar shows Russian airliners giving northern Scandinavia a very wide berth at the moment.
