Ukraine: Invasion Imminent?

Correct.  He was a Putin puppet and he ruled in the same hard way as Putin.

The people wanted to be free and have a democracy and that's what they got.

Putin's been trying to put it back ever since which led to the present situation.

Putin is afraid that if the people of Russia see a democracy beside them, they will want the same freedoms as Ukraine and he won't allow that.

Whether we were right in supporting that is for others to decide but it's done now,  the people were happy and  I agree that all people should be free.

Obviously some on here who prefer Putin's ways     -     Why not go and live there then ?

All you do is complain about how the UK is governed.

Why don't you live in another country then?

Easy this!

I wouldn't want to give you the pleasure.

You are the one who likes to spread yourself all over the world so maybe you could please me.

No seriously, why don't you move to another country if you don't like how the UK is governed?

You asked someone a similar question so why don't you practice what you preach?

They should have asked Russia, as well as Ukraine, if they wanted to join NATO before the invasion of Ukraine.  It might have made Putin feel a bit better.

He did want to join but they refused him.

He is a member of the United Nations but still breaks all their rules so that wouldn't have stopped him.

Unfortunately, we have also broken UN rules too so we can't shout too much.

Carry on believing that it should be stopped.

Thank you!

except it isn't going to be stopped and everything carries on as it was.

And you carry on believing that!

Just hold on to that opinion, until the MSM "narrative" changes and the Western politicians have to go into elections.  :)

Firstly,  I asked him because he seems to like Russia whereas I don't.

Secondly,  I don't run away.

Can you make a post without including the "MSM narrative" ?

My opinion often doesn't change when others do,  so don't rely on that.

Whether right or wrong,  I'm a free thinker and will stay that way until I die.

Have you anything to say about the subject,  rather than about me ????????

Very true.  I give him credit though,  for stopping with all the links and cut & paste jobs and putting his own words together recently.

Still constantly whining that everyone keeps calling him a Putin sympathiser though.
