Reactor secure.

No increase in radiation levels.

Training centre on fire during assault, now extinguished.

I think the reactor is now being shut down.

UK calling UN Security Council session regarding targeting of nuclear facilities.

The Russians will need these reactors to support their land corridor from the Crimea to Russia.

It makes no sense for them to destroy them...as sometimes the wind blows North East...not West.

To capture them - yes....as then the power output (currently connected to Ukraine) can be reduced as an economic weapon.

Their plan probably then being to hook up the plant to their bit of Ukraine...and restart the reactors.

Yes, they reported most of that about an hour after I posted, but I was tucked up in bed by then.

Now the Russians are saying it was the Ukrainians that did it.

Of course, and they’ll be believed in Russia.

I'll tell you all something. No need to worry too much if a nuclear bomb is dropped, because more than likely we will all die from the effects of radiation.

Hmmm...

I'm not worried...

... I've got a few left-over cloth face masks to protect me! :hihi:

I think we need to show a bit of toughness and let the aggressors know that we in the UK are not afraid of nuclear war.

We are tougher than that

Used to be, you mean!

I'm calling for us to show the world how tough we are, but as long as its not me who has to do the fighting.

I like a cup of warm coacoa before bedtime and my central heating to prevent me from getting too cold, even in summer.
