Putin made his "inner circle" very, very wealthy by way of corruption. And he tucked away a fair chunk fir himself. However, that same inner circle now find themselves in reduced circumstances - assets frozen, yachts seized, etc.  And they will stay that way whilst ever Vlad is head of state. 

 

I reckon they have lined up the replacement, he (or she....) will be a smiling face and appear very contrite and reasonable.Vlad will take all the blame.  But he won't be around to say so, they'll put something in his tea......

It's the progressives, socialists, and their "woke"  sycophants, and a suppportive Media, who currently hold the reigns of power in the West.

 

As for your "Western Values", it's the socialists Bernie Sanders, Ocasia-Cortez, Marky and other duly elected lawmakers who are most influental in directing U.S. domestic and foreign policy, which in turn, influences the world.

They are attacking traditional "Western Values" ("To me, capitalism is irredeemable" - AOC) and in favor of " abolishing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement,", with the resulting policy chaos at the open borders, as millions of illegal immigrants are allowed (welcomed) in and provided with all the basic neccessities of life. It is currently a continuous flood as one would expect.

 

Their radical Green New Deal Plan, endorsed by Biden, would "fundamentally transform the world’s largest economy". Some of the proposals on energy have already been reflected in U.S. policy, with the resulting fiasco on energy shortages and price increases we see today.

 

(Note: the spiraling record inflation, and energy shortages became a reality when these folks took office, and well before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, in spite of their lame attempts to "blame the Russians" for all their mismanagement)

 

As for who's sending propaganda to Britain?

 

Fake "Russian Collusion" conspiracy theories, pushed by the MSM for 4 years. Including Obama's FBI and CIA Chiefs.

 

More than 50 former intel officials signed a public letter saying they believe the Hunter Biden story has 'all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.

 I will admit that Putin is a bad, very bad dude. All totalitarians are, but "as Stanford economist Paul Romer once stated “a crisis is a terrible thing to waste” – a sentiment echoed by both Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.  :)

 

So it seems, is a ready made boogeyman.
