rabbitfluff
The recent storms have pretty much done for our pebble dashing on the front and side walls, with large chunks coming away and the rest looking precarious. Does anyone have any thoughts on what's best to replace it? Just googling, there seems to be various options and prices for rendering, some with silicone, acrylic, something called Monocouche, or just plain old render or more pebble dashing (not the biggest fan). It'll be an expensive job so I'd like to get it right so any advice/recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks.
FoxLady
Had ours mono'd last year. Took longer to get the old stuff off - hammer drills required - than apply the new render. Best part of six weeks overall, including scaffolding removal. We wanted cream as opposed to white - you wouldn't believe how many creams there are! Decided on one, but it's turned out "darker" than the original example. At that expense, going to have to live with it!
