The Owls should relocate to higher ground away from flood plain, Move ground , training ground . Top of Jenkin Road has land as well as Bolhills at Crookes , or we could just reclaim our old ground down the Bramall Lane , Edited February 23, 2022 by cuttsie

cuttsie
You are right again we were just the Wednesday cricketers who liked a kick around on a Wednesday , so we left the cricket section when we got too big and became pro's along with Notts County and possibly Stoke around 1866 ish , So we had to buy our own place more than once , The rest is history ,Yorkshire cricket lost the ground and were paid pea nuts , Mean while we ended up at Hillsbbro (paid for by club} . Don't know who owns it now ,maybe tha does ?????. Good win tonight for our old pal Hecky he is a top manager , although that high tackle on the Blackburn lad spoiled the night it could have ended a lads time in football as so often happens with tackles like that . Uniteds goalie man of match . Edited February 23, 2022 by cuttsie

cuttsie
Just testin . whats a year among a million of em . Mind you the Wednesday cricketers football section was having a kick about before those dates I read about it int Manor Top library around 1956 ish give or take a year. And the meetings in the Adlelphi started much earlyer than 1866 so who knows when the togga was first mentioned in the minuets /
