nikki-red
Well it’s been policy for even visitors to do a lateral flow across STH for weeks, so I’m surprised you didn’t have to do one for your NGH appointment.
HeHasRisen
Question. Do they ask for proof you have done one? And if so, how?
Kidorry
I think it is if you are having a small operation, then they send you the lateral flow test and you have to hand it in to the laboratory for them to test it. At least that is what happens to me.

No idea, wasn't even asked if I had been in contact with anybody with covid at NGH,

That sounds odd, every lateral flow I have seen is a self test where you get the results within 10 minutes.

It may sound odd to you but I have had to do this the last 3 times I have been.

So you do the test, it shows up negative, but you still have to take it in for them to test again? Bonkers. And they wonder why its cost billions. HeHasRisen
Reading that it doesnt actually say you have to prove it, so they are relying solely on goodwill. Given these tests are no longer free from the end of this month, that will require a bit of a rethink.
