Facebook Now Getting Very Much Like The Old Sf

anyone else notice how Facebook is now banning people for the slightest thing just like the old Mods on here used to do?

at first you get warnings and then a 24hr ban then 3 days and then a month, once you get a month if you digress again its straight to another month????? ridiculous.

what ever happend to free speech (unless its downright objectionable). i have just been put in facebook jail again for a comment, somene put up a video of 2 liverpool older ladies fighting drunk in a taxi and on the street, swearing and generally not nice so i commented "a couple of skanks" instant ban for bullying it said and there is pretty much no re-dress, anyone else had a petty ban?

Had Loads of petty bans on farcebook, it's not the same as in here in the slightest though. Completely different, nice try at fitting a dig in though

Claiming that individuals have the right to call people that they do not know or have any connection with, "..."a couple of skanks"..." on a private social platform is not an infringement of "...free speech...".

You have agreed to the T&C's when you sign on. 

Those T&C's are there to protect Facebook legally and protect its business. 

Facebook and other platforms have the right and in some cases legal obligations to control what appears on their pages.

It is about time that Facebook and other platforms improved their image.

Facebook is only as good as you make it.  I now just use it for special interest groups where there's no drama or fighting.

Not exactly true, I've been been banned a few times for seemingly innocent things said, or posted, say music, some record sleeves get you a ban, reciting some song lyrics can, depends whether the AI picks it up, generally it does

Not sure why anyone continues to use it to be honest. It's boring unless you are nosey and want to know what's happening in your friends life. Assuming they post something interesting in the first place and not a photo of their beans on toast tea..
