Where and when have SYP communicated that cyclists don’t kill anyone and are free to commit offences please? 😲

And when another person questioned why ‘we never hear about how many cyclists you prosecute’, officers had a very simple answer.

“Exactly how many car drivers were killed by cyclists last year David? There’s your reason.

Walking through Sheffield Botanical Gardens yesterday where cycling is banned. One cyclist, average bloke on a bog standard bicycle, sat on the saddle just moving the bike with his feet.  It would have been much easier to get off & push.

Another but this time a lycra lout in his mid 30's racing full pelt on a trail type bike, in & out of the shrubbery, treating the Gardens like they were his personal downhill course.

Clearly when some get on a bicycle, they loose all ability to read the no cycling / cyclist please dismount rules at the gates.

We are on the verge of World war that il sort the dirty sods out waint it

Even your selective quote missed out this bit:

We prosecute those whose behaviour is most dangerous

So, after all those motorists who do drive dangerously[1] stop doing so, they'll be able to focus on the new most dangerous people - which might be the cyclists you are so concerned about.

[1] Which is only a minority of motorists.

I draw the line when a cyclist rings her bell for me to get out of the way when I am on the narrow footpath.

Well you should give way to them nowadays you know, they’ve got right of way 😂🤣

😂 Behave.

There are countless pedestrians & cyclists through history who were careful, wore hi-vis, wore a helmet, kept to pavements/cycle lanes, looked both ways every single time they crossed a street, etc etc, and they still got killed by a car.

The levels of due care and attention by pedestrians & cyclists are not the problem...
