Sack him!

He forced pointless restrictions on the general public knowing there was no real danger from convid whilst at the same time attending parties, having fun and living a normal life.

The arrogance of this man is sickening.

However, the silver lining is way more people probably ended up seeing convid for what it is thanks to his actions.

You say that but if another lockdown happened, the masses would yet again meekly comply.

If you think there were minutes, that means it was an official meeting, not a party

if these were official meetings, where are the minutes?

why was Carrie there?

why was their decorator there?

why did  they need to send out for more drinks?

why  did the police issue fines?

why did Allegra Stratton resign?*

(it was clearly a party, he then lied about it)

*Johnson was very happy for other people to resign, when he thought it let him off the hook. it's incredibly cowardly, and selfish - hardly the behaviour of a 'Leader'.

the laws had been lifted, what's your point?

(i'm not even 'anti-Boris', i think there's quite a lot that i like about him. for example : his enthusiasm* for active travel and nuclear power, etc.  I do genuinely worry that if Johnson resigns, these important issues will get forgotten, or worse : performatively ditched  to create clear water between him, and his replacement)

(*and proper funding!)

For the anti Boris mob the definition of a party is a gathering where Boris attends in which he is seen drinking or eating and a definition of a work meeting is a gathering  where Keir Starmer attends and is seen drinking and eating.

are the police the anti Boris mob? they didnt see it as work or he wouldnt have been fined

In the HoC he said he was'furious' at seeing the footage of Stratton laughing with her colleagues about parties in No 10.

I think at the time everyone thought that Johnson was furious at the very idea of people, politicians or not, were having parties in a pandemic of a highly infectious disease.

It turns out he was furious because she and her colleagues were laughing at Johnson and his chums having parties, and of course that's what he believed the public wanted to hear.

Of course, now the public want to hear his resignation, well they can take a running jump.

To be fair, if he is so stupid that he can't recognise a birthday party, he should be driven out of office by  a pack of wild dogs.

We need a serious, competent leader. He is none of those things.

So who do you suggest to replace him?
