Is there any such thing as 'Spare Cash'

Once I've spent on  the  essentials 'Cars Motorcycles Garage equipment' there's now't left  .

Sadly for me no, I've not had spare cash in a long time.

It's my daughter's money and I want her to try and make the most of it 👍

Two threads current at the moment, Are you skint and what would you do with £4,000, I'll solve both threads, if you have £4,000 spare lend it to someone who is skint. :hihi:

You're welcome.

It's not so complex though, am surprised more people don't just dip a toe; invest maybe £100, just to get acquainted with the space and technology.

Anyhoo, best of luck wisely investing your 4k!

£1,000 'Buffer money'; so I'm not worrying at the end of every month, emergencies, cost of living, call it relax a bit money. Nice Xmas.

£1,000 nice holiday somewhere hot, there's only me so I reckon I'd get a nice couple of weeks at a Greek island hotel/villa.

£2,000 Savings account, not earning anything substantial really, but still there if needed, easily accessible. Family emergency, cooker/washer suddenly breaks down,

Jesting with you  Cuttsie & hope you do get to Wembley

I really wouldn't know.

Been to 4 matches in my life, the last was on the 28th of Oct 1981 (Anglo Scottish Cup at Chesterfield)

Twas a night, blowing a gale, rain coming down sideways and Rangers went down 3-0  .

The suppin of Whisky before during and the party on Woodseats after was fun  .

Keep safe out there 8) .

I'd leave it in the bank as I'm just that kind of person

But what if somone wanted to make it work for them as they say. What then?

Buy shares in Facebook, a friend asked me which shares to buy a while back, they were 180, they are now around 210, still a good buy.
