Shipping Containers Coming To Fargate

Recommended Posts

Just seen the report on Look North & heard it earlier on Radio Sheffield.

So on top of the reported cost of £600,000 it'll now cost a further £50,000 to dismantle the structure according to today's SCC meeting.  They will be placed on a yet unidentified brown field site.  Is that SCC jargon for dumped & embarrassingly forgotten?

Apparently SCC see their future use as units for catering or as toilets.  Not bad for £650,000 & rising.  Shall we run a book on the final dismantling cost?

"Dear Roy & Norris.  I believe we at SCC have the world's most expensive toilets?  is it a record?"

Next up will be the storage costs of the things....

Self store company's seem to be booming ,maybe leave where they are and convert to that

Seems they wont be in storage for long. Community groups have until April to bid for them
