ewanarm
Been and had another look today. Still not much sign of upstairs bar opening although there are now 3 low chairs and two mini bars on wheels but that is all and no signs of life. One person in the gift shop and one person buying some food.

A few weeks ago when I walked down Fargate towards the High St. on the left land side, one of the unused retail units had pictures of what is planned for Fargate. Right down the centre, virtually top to bottom, all the cobbles look as though they're going to be removed & replaced by a meadow style planting scheme similar to that on Snig Hill. I thought the council had given up cutting the grass to save money, looked a right mess. there's a video of oxford earlier in this thread, they've stuck a few planters down to bring green spaces to the city centre. I remember those cobbles were very expensive and I think specialist paviors were brought in from abroad to lay them
