So it's registered to Pond Gate Estate 1 Ltd Looking at their history it seems very sketchy. Directorship swaps etc. Only £1 in the accounts yet owes money to Natwest, secured on property in Sheffield referred to as "Pond Street Complex", jointly with another company known as Pond Gate Estate 2 Ltd. Pond Street Complex shows as the building on Arundel Gate that contains several offices and retail with the postcode S1 2PN A search for Pond Gate Estate reveals FIVE separate companies numbered 1-5, all incorporated in the same week in Dec 2015 PGE 1 & 2 have loans secured with Natwest PGE 3 recently settled a loan with Natwest PGE 4-5 have loans with Mount Street mortgages. All 5 have no more that £1 in their accounts yet paying their bills despite not trading. All 5 Pond Gate Estates companies have the same director That person is director of THIRTY-TWO different companies, although several are clustered like Pond Gate Estates in numbered sequence. All non-trading, all with only £1 in accounts with various loans in play, except one that has just over £14,000. The above information took me 20 minutes to find, ya just gotta know how and where to look. Anyone at the council processing their application would need to do due diligence and this company is a red flag. I also found the directors home address. Looks to be a nice little area in Prestwich... Edited December 16, 2022 by Resident
RollingJ
Thanks for that useful information, @Resident. I don't know about a red flag, more like a raging inferno to anyone with any accountancy training, or even just plain common sense.
