GabrielC
The former Lion works on Spital Hill has been long derelict I don't remember it been in use only in its derelict state. Not so long ago a neighbor was complaining about debris falling into his land in fact a workmen had near miss when some timber came crashing down. I believe their was a fire at one time that damaged the roof allergy a well know boxer might have owned it. I could be wrong I think it was once a tool works. Does anyone when the building was last used or its past in general? Edited June 9, 2022 by GabrielC

No idea, the motor bike shop was an former pub years ago now also derelict and up for sale. The Lion Works could be a listed building hence why it's still around I seem to remember there was a plan to build a tower near the old works' Spital Tower 'development.
