But what I hear people say often is " if cannabis is illegal still, why are people walking around in public smoking it?" They don't get apprehended by the police either . I agree to some degree that the police have more pressing issues to attend too but it is still illegal to smoke, have in possession, sell etc cannabis. That's pretty much all you can do if your neighbor is the ignorant sort. It was actually my neighbour who was the reason I stopped. I loved a good smoke but she could smell it in her house too and no matter how I tried to control the smell it still crept in so I stopped.
