I have a male friend, who I see does similar, putting his whole life into his children. If you are a couple, that's fine, you have each other. But what about the singletons? Baron99 Posted July 24, 2022 Share Posted July 24, 2022 (edited) The joy of grandchildren, (hopefully great-grandchildren) & the knowledge that my children, who I spoon fed & wiped up after when they were months old, will experience the same joy doing the same for me at the other end of my life span. But what about the singletons? I have a friend who is a single parent. She has poured her whole life in to her children. They are all now rapidly growing up, and I do worry about how she will cope when they are all older.
