There are plenty of projects and initiatives that need publicity and marketing to be more successful. 
 

There’s always an argument for less or more of anything.

 

Nowadays councils tend to have a central communications team and everything has to go through them to ensure corporate standards are met. There’s a cost to that.

 

Significant projects tend to have the comms/marketing allowed for in the budget.

Just trying to remember the name of the Sheffield publicity officer in the 1970s.

He led the Sheffield Forward? Project in the late 1960 or early 1970s
