Eddie Izzard - Potential Sheffield Lab Mp?

Recommended Posts

I’m looking forward to Eddie Izzard getting elected for two reasons

Reason 1: She will be a good mp.

Reason 2: The gammon explosion on Sheffield Forum will be spectacular.

Reason 1 - based on what?

I can not ask the poster who used the phrase as we are not interacting.

I think the idiot who said it was implying that the conservatives on this forum are transphobic

Although, it was a Labour MP that stated that it would be unfair for Izzard to campaign as a woman

When in reality most of the conversation has been about whether Izzard would be a good MP and if she knows anything about the city considering she hasnt lived here for over 40 years

To me it seems that Izzard is trying to hijack one of the safest seats in the country and i fear many will vote for her because shes a celebrity

No, many will vote for her because its a Labour safe seat, where you could pin a red rosette on a convicted animal abusing paedophile and Labour would still win.

Exactly......so wouldnt it be better to have someone who is local and who is passionate about local issues?

As I dont live in the constituency concerned I dont give too much of a toss tbh, although its funny watching some posters in this thread in a tizz about it, many of whom probably dont live in the constituency either.
