Undocumented ones?

Let's face it, Republican supporting business owners have been employing millions of undocumented migrants and DeSantis, Abbott and all the other Republican politicians are going to do nothing about them or the supply of them. Even Trump did it.

As for the claim DeSantis "made the other side live up to what they claim to be their principles." No. He was hoping they'd be horrified at the migrants' arrival so he could claim they were hypocrites. Instead, they provided them with food and shelter.

Martha's Vineyard has 17,000 permanent residents but in the summer over 100,000 people go there for their vacation.

The Island is full of empty hotels but apparently they cant accommodate them.

48 hours after they arrived they were shipped off somewhere else.

They're bigger hypocrites than Lily Allen

I don't know why a few people on here are construing this as a 'win' for Desantis, who by the little I know of him, sounds an unpleasant character.

I guess since Trump is being exposed as the malevolent fraudster and bully that he is, right wingers need someone to peg their affections on

Anyway, good luck to the migrants.

Hope one day Desantis ends up feeling like collateral.

It's hardly fare for the southern states and Florida to absorb all the migrants through Mexico just because of geography is it? it's a bit like Italy's legitimate and understandable request that other EU states take more of their fare share of migrants from Africa.

Florida doesn't take migrants from Mexico. DeSantis had to get some from Texas to have some to send north.

None of the Republicans want to solve the migrants issue. For them, just like people crossing the channel from France is for the Tories in this country, it's too much of an electoral asset for them for them to do so.

Trump was building a wall and then Biden immediately stopped the construction as soon as he got into office.

So far this year 2 million people have walked into the USA that they know about

The planet is overpopulated.....we cannot continue with people just wondering around expecting others to pay for them

They were moved to an existing emergency shelter facility on the mainland - Martha's Vineyard is a small island. Do you think it's a good use of public money to keep people in expensive hotels when there is a more suitable facility nearby? It's the Republican Massachusetts state government that's taken on responsibility for them.

Trump's wall never stopped anyone. It was just an expensive white elephant.

They don't expect people to pay for them. They want to get jobs and live the American dream.
