That number it seems depends on who is reporting it and it seems pretty equal on both sides as well.

9 months on and before Winter sets in, it has lost over half of its territorial gains, all of its professional paratroops, close to 50% of its missile inventory, close to 80% of its western BTGs, any reputation for capacity that its military held, all of its western FDI, all of its goodwill with western democracies, <…> and did I mention 2 first-line navy vessels, that it lost to a minion of a country that has no navy at all?
 

You’d have to be an imbecile, or in Russia’s pay, to hold that it is “winning”.

 

By that contrast, Ukraine is certainly “winning”, by any metric you care to name. It’s still there, it’s people are cold and in the dark, but they’re still free. More than can be said, relative to most Europe 9 months after Hitler started.

But just to remind you, the numbers of injured or dead on both sides seem to vary depending on where the information comes from.... Biden wants to have a word with Putin to talk about ending the war. Though you would have at least read that news Komrade.
