The majority is generally in the middle ground. Tony Blair won by being in the middle ground. That only works in a two party system, because there are other party's on the left that people could vote for.

Would you vote in line with your socialist beliefs for the Green party or would you vote Labour to stop the Tories?

I vote for the party which represents what I think is best and not to stop another party winning.

In reality I think there are only the 2 major parties that can win a general election.

Because I would like a committed Labour supporter to tell me why Labour are not representing the views of , what I believe to be, the majority.

I am not committed to any party but at the moment don't think there is much difference between the 2 main parties.

You don't think there's much difference between the two parties??

Are you seriously suggesting a Labour government would ever deliver a budget even remotely similar to what the Tories did yesterday?

So you will be voting Labour, that's the right vote at the moment.

PR has been mentioned in the past few days.

Corbyn split the Labour party down the middle and alienated so many that life long Labour voters voted for The Tories

That is a monumental f**k up that will take decades to repair

Its why Starmer had to get rid of him

Unfortunately they still have Corbyn 2.0 with Angela Rayner trying to take over the party

Starmer takes one step forward and the Corbynistas take two steps back

Hmmm...

Well clearly the top people are being attracted abroad where their talents are still being rewarded.

Why shouldn't the best people be rewarded for their efforts?

Don't forget that bonuses are just that...
... even though they're being paid maybe hundreds of thousands in bonuses in some cases, they only get bonuses based on the amount of money they earn for the company/country!

So unlike in the public sector, where people get paid an amount no matter how incompetent they are, the private sector needs to be able to compete and pay the market value to keep the right people! :|

Hmmm, yeah, if I recall that ethos led to the right people making a it possible to recycle risky debt into AAA-rated bonds to hide their many many mistakes...

...and get the bonus even when they'd lost so much their company, in reality, was actually insolvent before they'd even handed it out! :?
