crookesey Posted December 7, 2022 Author Share Posted December 7, 2022 Going back to when I was a kid in the 1950’s the only heating that we had in our single glazed, none insulated home was a coal fire in the lounge. I was in my mid 20’s when I first experienced the delights of central heating, and I still have no feelings of guilt in using it when I start to feel cold, even if it’s in late September.
