As mentioned numerous times by myself, this is the most expensive way of paying for energy. If Anna is paying 54p (ish) a day then that must solely be for her electric, and she is confusing herself here. Her gas wont be as much as 54p a day on its own. Cheers HHR. Padders
I have to keep mentioning this... But the gas price is continuing to plummet... From a high of 500 dollars, it's now trading at 64 dollars. Cheap or not?

Sadly too late to affect the July 2023 one. It may also encourage more providers to offer some decent fixed rates. Eon have released one to some of their customers but it's not that great. Pyrotequila
It has to be frustrating for people... the price is back to what it was autumn/winter 2020. The companies are always so quick to increase prices for consumers but glacially slow for bringing them back down again.

This isn't true whatsoever, in winter 21/22 they were losing money hand over fist until OFGEM raised the cap.

Its likely to be a cut to around 27p per unit of leccy and 8p per unit of gas. Cap has been announced at £2074 and it seems that the gas price is doing most of the heavy lifting of the decrease. Those those still choosing to pay by quarterly pay on receipt of bill (why?), the cap is £2211. @Padders Gas likely to be around 7.5p (sc of 29p) and electric 30p (sc of 53p) for those on monthly payments, the quarterly people can add about 7% to those, regional variations table hasnt been released yet.
