Son used to use the washing machine four times a week,  I reminded him that as well as the water bill increasing so was the electric bill.

I use the Brook that runs through our local pk. much cheaper.

Energy prices rocketing again HHR ?

Went up 28% in one day on Wednesday all because there were rumours of strikes by workers in Australia.

That's right. Australia. A country we get absolutely none of our gas from. Bizarre but shows you how volatile the markets are.

Down a bit Thursday and Friday though.

I'd imagine a few people are getting super cheap electric today with all the wind?

Yes the half hour price has gone under 3p for two periods today on Agile, although in a few minutes it goes up to 30p.

Tomorrow is back to Friday prices so only a one day blip sadly.

Gas prices now up to their highest level since early April due to twitchiness about if the Aussies are going on strike tomorrow, apaprently talks have been "constructive" so hopefully its called off once they reopen for business down there around 11pm tonight.

All this is going to impact the Jan price cap, sadly.
