It is ours , But as usual the Government allow their backers to take over the goodies , rail , oil , gas .transport ,road building and so on . The profits end up in some off shore dodgy banks , The gangsters who have  robbed the poor people of our Country are then knighted by our Royal family , Itsa cosy little carry on just like the Russian  Oligarchs who we house in London .

We are a tax haven. That's what we do. The sooner people realise what a soft touch we are for the Oligarchs and gangsters the better. They're here for their benefit, not ours.

It's all wrong but what can you do? The people keep voting in the Conservatives, and while ever these friends of the super rich are in charge that's what you get. (And sadly, Starmer will be no better)

Nothing has an actual real value, resources have the value of whatever the markets decide the value is. This isn't surprising, given that money is not real, which we discovered in 2008. We could have a system whereby we organised for power sources to generate us power, then moved that power to where we needed it, then used it, all without the need for money or markets or any of that. But then it wouldn't be possible for a tiny number of people to have all the wealth and other sort of power, so apparently that's a terrible idea.

Explain your brilliant idea, please?

Well, what you do is, you construct a method of generating power (a wind turbine, for example), and then you make a big cable to connect it to, and then you put that cable where people need power, then you stick a transformer on it to get the voltage down, and then people use it. So exactly as we do now, except without someone giving any of this a made up value and getting rich.

And who pays for this?

Similar system to when we had coal pits.
