Nuclear Fusion Reactor To Be Built Near Retford.

Recommended Posts

A New Nuclear Fusion reactor to be built near Retford, according to Look North. First one in the world, as all previous attempts have been experimental.

It will be able to provide almost limitless cheap, clean energy. Won't come on line for 20 years, but it's a start.

So it looks like nuclear fusion in quantity is finally possible.

Will it happen do you think?

I think you have already answered that as it won't come online for 20 years for a good reason and in another 20 years they will still be saying soon!

In any case even IF they do crack it do your really think it will be cheap after all the money that has already been pumped into trying to make one work?

Who knows, and who's paying?

Nottinghamshire CC leader and MP for a North Notts seat Ben Bradley was on LBC, and he said that it was publicly funded. Though once it's up and running, the public having stumped up the money, no doubt the Tories will privatise it

Yep it is being built it but will not work just yet as no country has managed it so far, maybe in 20 years or so but nowhere soon.

They haven’t finished yet Jim.

There is still a bit of the economy left and some bits of the national infrastructure to sell.
