Hello All.

 

First things first we have some **** hot Music on the Wedneday the 5th of July. For the night we are lucky enough to be hosting the Sheffield leg of FIGHT FIRE WITH WATER and MAYBESHEWILL's Summer tour.

Also gracing Opus and Sheffield with their presence will be FROM THE SKY making the long trip North from Laaaaandan Town

 

Secondly we are gradually building a catalogue of Artists, Poets, Photographers, Musicians, Comedians and so forth for a section of our website. Our website, by the end of the summer, will have the makings of a Individual profile available to all Musicians/Poets/Writers etc... It will be a mini-website within our own website that the Artist has control of in every aspect thus making it an outlet for the mountains of unexplored/undiscovered talent in the U.K today

This will provide a place for anyone interested in any kind of Art form somewhere to look when trying to find new talent. Anyone who displays will be able to upload any kind of media they like but also have a place for a personalised space individual to the user.

 

Myspace has similar values to the idea detailed above, in terms of making webspace available so that people across the globe can make friends, find new music etc... and as a result is a great neworking tool for that reason but we would like to provide a place that is similar but purely for Artists of ALL forms/type/genre. (& without the iTunes adverts all over the place!!)

Last but not least we have recently updated our myspace page with the new flyer and links to all the bands and their music that will be playing at our next show on the 5th of July.

Not only that but we now have a list of all of Opus's gigs to date with links to each and every Artist that has ever played. Please, please, please check them out as we genuinely love each and every one!!

Hello all on the forum!! signed up!! Glad to see Opus have some representation on here...

 

I've really enjoyed all of your shows Opus - keep 'em coming!!!

 

Would love to see Meat for a Dark Day again at some point as they were amazing in your first show.

 

Looking forward to Wednesday too, even more so now that i've checked those links you posted!! Fight fire with Water and amazing... Would like to see if it translates as well live as it does in the recordings...

 

I've also, regarding your website, got mates with many bohemian/creative ambitions so ill be sure to send them your way as it sounds like a good opportunity for themselves to get their output out into the world.
